The hearing is being held to get an update on the spill response, and to seek answers to the many questions that still remain relative to the cause of the pipeline rupture. Various agency officials and experts, including the Ventura City Fire Department, State Fire Marshal, and the Office of Spill Prevention and Response, will participate in panel presentations, and respond to questions from committee members. A representative from Crimson Pipeline, the party responsible for the spill, will also be on hand to answer questions. Spanish interpretation available.
