Wild Nature at work in Ventura's Hall Canyon and Prince Barranca: Fires, Floods

Here are reminders of violent hillside events that happen every so often:

We have fires around gas and oil installations.

We have downpours filling streets from hillside channels and flowing into Prince Barranca.

And then Prince Barranca rages under the city to the sea, taking the oil with it if it were there.

See Video on U-Tube at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eYGNjFkfJUg

We have debris flows and floods in the hills and down into Prince Barranca.

We have road washouts uncovering old and active pipelines

We have gas pipe explosions and oil spills.

And animals still try to use it as a wildlife corridor--if it's left in its natural state.
